在大湾区的整个规划纲要之中，广州黄埔开发区将围绕“世界知识城、湾区创新源、国际人才港”目标，全力打造粤港澳大湾区创新中心核心枢纽。在此背景之下，位于黄埔区的核心地段的广开·云汇科技金融中心将汇集五星级酒店、办公、商业和公寓于一体，以开放绿色的环境，结合多元的功能业态，构建出“工作-生活”相平衡的未来城市客厅。在总体规划中，建筑团队整合不同功能业态和出入口，将行人引向中心的下沉式广场，形成向心聚拢的布局，寓意“藏风纳气”。建筑设计以“云瀑”为灵感，抽象凝练九天银河倾泻而下的动态之美，将其融入建筑形态，以简洁而流畅的立面线条，营造出极富流动感的立面形象。
In the overall planning outline of the Greater Bay Area, Guangzhou Huangpu Development Zone will focus on the goal of "world knowledge city, Bay Area innovation source, international talent port", and strive to build the core hub of the innovation center of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. In this context, located in the core area of Huangpu District, Guangkai · Yunhui Technology and Finance Center will bring together five-star hotels, offices, businesses and apartments in an open green environment, combined with diversified functional formats, to build a future urban living room with a balance of "work-life". In the overall planning, the architectural team integrates different functional formats and entrances, leading pedestrians to the sunken square in the center, forming a centripetal layout, meaning "hiding wind and absorbing air". Inspired by the "cloud waterfall", the architectural design abstracts and condenses the dynamic beauty of the nine-day Milky Way pouring down, and integrates it into the architectural form. With simple and smooth façade lines, it creates a flowing façade image.
